Terms of Service & Customer Agreement
Please review these terms carefully before booking home appliance repair services through WorkAtPlace.
1. Fixed ₹299 Doorstep Inspection Policy
Our certified technician visits your address to perform comprehensive diagnostic tests on your appliance. The fixed inspection fee is ₹299. If you approve the digital repair quotation and proceed with the service, the full ₹299 inspection fee is automatically adjusted against your total invoice.
2. Digital Quotation Approval
Technicians are strictly prohibited from commencing repairs or replacing spare parts without generating a transparent digital quotation. Work will only proceed once you have reviewed and approved the estimate.
3. Unconditional 90-Day Warranty
All completed appliance repairs carry an unconditional 90-day service warranty starting from the date of service completion. If the exact same malfunction recurs during this period, our technician will re-inspect and fix the defect with zero labor or visit fees.
*Note: The warranty covers the specific components repaired and associated workmanship. It does not cover external physical damage, power surges/high-voltage shocks, or tampering by unauthorized third-party technicians.
4. OEM Genuine Spare Parts Guarantee
WorkAtPlace mandates that all replacement components (motors, PCBs, gas refills, pumps, thermostats) are original equipment manufacturer (OEM) grade. Technicians must provide the manufacturer warranty packaging to the customer.
5. Property Protection & Safety
We provide up to ₹10,000 property damage insurance cover against any accidental damage occurring during the execution of doorstep repair work, subject to incident verification by our operations review desk.
6. Cancellation & Rescheduling
Customers may cancel or reschedule their service request at any time prior to the technician's arrival without incurring any cancellation penalty. Once a technician has arrived at the doorstep, the ₹299 inspection fee becomes applicable.
7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or related to our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
